How the AD&D benefit works
With family coverage, your spouse or domestic partner's benefit is 50% of your amount and each dependent child's is 20%. With no dependent children, your spouse or partner's benefit is 60%. With no spouse or partner, your dependent children's benefit is 25%.

Is there an enrollment fee?
No. You pay only the monthly rate for the option you choose.
Does this plan cover illness?
No. It pays for covered accidents only and does not provide basic hospital, basic medical or major medical coverage. For illness, you need a health insurance plan.
Who underwrites the insurance?
The accident insurance is underwritten by Federal Insurance Company, a member insurer of Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. Value Benefits of America is a not-for-profit association.
Are there other benefit levels?
Yes. VBA also offers a $2,000 AME option with a $50 deductible ($29.95 individual, $34.95 family) and a $20,000 AME option with a $275 deductible ($84.95 individual, $89.95 family). Call us for details.
When can I start using MDhotline?
The MDhotline benefit begins 30 days after your VBA membership date. MDhotline is not insurance and is not for emergencies; in a life-threatening situation, call 911 first.
How much does it cost to work with you?
Nothing. Our service is at no cost to you.
